Students start out by breaking up into teams. Each team will need one smartphone to download the team building app from the Apple App or Google Play store.

SCHOOL SPIRIT | 1,000 POINTS: Photograph your team showing their school spirit, with someone who is wearing a branded school t-shirt or sweater.

Imagine your team competing in a Survivor-style competition, right here in Las Vegas! In Corporate Castaways, teams take on a series of challenges that will test their collaboration and teamwork.
How does it work? Once the activity is set up, teams will be able to choose from a variety of different challenges, set up all around the area. From blindfolded races around obstacles, to finding hidden puzzle pieces while roped together – each challenge is designed to get you working together in unique and exciting ways. The Amazing Chase team building activity is based on the popular reality television show. Teams take on an action-packed journey around the city while testing their ability to work together under pressure. In order to advance through each stage of the scavenger hunt, teams must work together to earn points by solving stimulating challenges that are designed to test their physical and mental skills.
Teams must rely heavily on communication and creative thinking to advance through the race solving challenges along the way. The team that solves the most challenges and makes it to the finish fastest are crowned the Amazing Chase champions.

The goal of each team is to successfully complete challenges on a GPS guided journey around the city. Challenges are designed specifically for the city you are in. Once the race is completed, an event coordinator will determine the winners by analyzing race data and results. Regardless of the winning outcome, everyone involved in this fun and stimulating team building activity will have a great time interacting with their coworkers and seeing the sights of the city.

High Tea. The British love a cup of tea! Follow their lead and take a break by your favorite tea house. While on route, collect disposable cups and recreate the tower of London by stacking these cups exactly one meter high. Photograph the structure next to a ruler as proof of its exact height.
Roadblock
Going Native. Designed to intimidate their opposition before battle, New Zealand’s Haka dance was feared across the land. It is time for your team to master this traditional dance, as per the instructions provided by the site host. Practice makes perfect! Prepare your dance until you’re ready to perform it in front of the site host. Once you’ve mastered the moves, a site host will provide you with the password required to unlock your next challenge.

Imagine standing in line for your daily cup of coffee when all of a sudden a group of people storms into the shop, heads directly to the cream and sugar station and then proceeds to throw packages of Splenda in the air while group members try to catch them with wooden stir sticks! Someone takes a picture and then just as quickly as they appeared, they’re gone! You know bystanders will have an interesting story to tell around the water cooler on Monday!
GREEN WEAVER | 500 POINTS: Create and then photograph the most useful thing you can knit, weave or otherwise fashion out of plastic grocery bags.
This is a fun Mission if teams start it early enough in the game to have time to think about the item they’re going to create. Team members can really show off their creative and eco-friendly sides with this Mission and the other team members are always surprised when they discover that one of their own can make a doormat from a handful of plastic bags!
HAIRY SCARY! | 1000 POINTS: Make a Nagi Nodo critter from human hair. A bald man with a live mammal on his head will also be considered!
This is a great Mission but one that is not often completed by teams. First, find out who Nagi Nodo is (short version: she’s a Japanese artist who created AMAZING sculptures out of hair … while it’s still on their head!) Then, teams have to plan their sculpture and beg, borrow or steal the materials to make it happen. We personally think finding a man with a mammal on his head would be easier, but a handful of teams have given it a good try. The animal of choice seems to be a big, fluffy, abstract sheep!
FRENEMIES | 250 POINTS+: Photograph the team re-enacting the splashing-in-a-fountain scene from Friends. Water must be involved and more water means more points!
This Mission is a great way to cool off on a hot day, and we’ve learned that there are very loose definitions of fountains. Pouring a bottle of water on your team mate is a type of fountain, we suppose.

In this highly entertaining and engaging event, participants divide into teams and then have the opportunity to build a real boat constructed from cardboard. This boat will be built and then evaluated in a number of areas including presentation, design, USP/marketing, cohesiveness and finally, functionality.
Yes, this means that each team will be putting at least one member into the boat to compete on the water in a navigational challenge. Winning the boat race will not guarantee the overall win, but it will be a big factor (and provide a ton of laughs!)
Request More InformationDuring the course of the event, teams will have to deal with several curve balls that are not uncommon in the real world, new requirements, staff changes, etc.
At each stage teams will have the opportunity to change roles so that everyone in the group has a chance to be project lead. At the end of the building process, teams will put together a group presentation that will highlight their accomplishments and ‘sell’ their boat to the client.
Then, the actual boat race begins. You’ll be amazed at what can actually float and make it to the finish line. For those who don’t make it, it’s literally sink or swim (life jackets will be provided).
Finally, there will be an awards presentation where the coveted Cardboard Shipwright Contract will also be given to the winning team.

Typically this activity is run outdoors at a park with a nearby body of water. Although you’d think this is a hot weather event only, recently we’ve run this fun activity in the dead of winter using a hotel’s indoor pool. You can do the “build-a-boat” portion inside a conference room, then head to the pool deck for the exciting races.
Typically we require up to 3-4 hours with your group with the actual activity lasting approximately 2-3 hours, although this is completely flexible.
